The Build-A-Bear Experience

At the heart of the Build-A-Bear experience is the opportunity to personalize your own bear or other furry friend. From choosing the plush animal's gender and name to selecting its fur color and scent, every decision is a chance for your child to express their unique creativity.

But the fun doesn't stop at picking out the External Features, as Build-A-Bear calls them. Your child can also choose a heart, a clothing style, and even a recorded voice to enhance their new friend's uniqueness. This hands-on process not only delights children but also teaches them about personal expression and customization.

Storytime and Parties

In addition to bear-building, Build-A-Bear Reading offers regular storytime events. These interactive sessions are a wonderful opportunity for your child to improve their listening skills while engaging in a fun, literacy-filled environment.

Moreover, the store hosts themed parties and workshops where children can celebrate special occasions or learn new skills, such as making birthday cakes for their stuffed friends or creating custom T-shirts for their new playmates.

Educational Opportunities

As a part of the Build-A-Bear Foundation, this workshop offers educational tools and programs called the "Count Your Candles" and "Heart Program." Through these initiatives, children learn about the importance of giving back and volunteering, promoting social responsibility from an early age.

Additionally, the "Making Friends is a Bear Necessity" game on the Build-A-Bear website and mobile app encourages problem-solving and critical thinking as children help their online Bears navigate challenges and learn new skills.
