Trends Defining Cool Kid Drawing Cartoons

The term "cool" is subjective, but in the context of cartoon drawing, it often revolves around unique styles, dynamic storytelling, and popular culture references. Here are a few trends that are currently defining cool kid drawing cartoons:

1. **Pop Culture Infusion**: From memes to movies, cool kid drawings often incorporate elements from popular culture. This could be a unique take on a well-known character, a humorous scene from a recent movie, or a clever blend of different franchises. The key is to put a fresh twist on familiar subjects.

Memelords and Cartoonists

Drawings inspired by memes are particularly popular. Artists like Moriah elliptical (elliptical_moriah on Twitter) are known for their humorous, meme-based comic strips that capturecurrent events and internet trends.

Similarly, artists like Connor Willumsen (connorwillumsen on Twitter) blend pop culture references with personal narratives, creating drawings that are not only visually striking but also thought-provoking.

Character Redesigns

Another trend is reimagining well-known characters in unique styles or settings. This could be a gritty, realistic take on a cartoon character, or a whimsical interpretation of a usually serious character. The goal is to surprise and delight viewers, showing them a familiar face in a new light.

Artists like TheAoppat (aoppat on Instagram) are renowned for their dynamic character redesigns, often blending various artistic styles to create fresh, unexpected interpretations.
