This captivating stop-motion animated series delves into the magical realm of imaginary friends, providing a unique perspective on friendship, growth, and the power of imagination. Let's explore the captivating character list that populates this beloved universe.

The series is set in an orphanage for discarded imaginary friends, a retirement home of sorts where these once-loved companions spend their days reminiscing about the past and waiting to be adopted by children in need of an imaginative boost. Our journey begins with the founder and proprietor of this extraordinary establishment, Mr. Foster.

Mr. Foster and His Imaginary Friends

Edward "Eddie" Foster is the benevolent founder of the titular home. Once a lonely boy, Eddie created an array of imaginary friends to keep him company. Now an adult, he runs the home as a sanctuary for these beloved companions, ensuring they never face the abandonment he witnessed when his own friends "retired."

Eddie's personal history makes him empathetic and kind, a leader who cares deeply for the wellbeing of his residents. His dedication to the home has made him a beloved figure in the community, but it has also left him seemingly unable to form new relationships in the real world. His backstory serves as a poignant reflection on the power of imagination and the challenges of growing up.

Blooreba

Blooreba, Eddie's first imaginary friend, is a sentient ball of yarn with a perpetually worried expression. She serves as a mentor and confidant to both the new and veteran residents, providing a maternal influence that helps guide them through their adventures.

Blooreba's honesty and insight make her an integral part of the Foster's Home family. Despite her soft-spoken nature, she commands respect and has the unique ability to bring troubled residents back into the fold when they feel lost or abandoned.

Mr. Herriman

Mr. Herriman is another of Eddie's childhood creations, a terrifying monstrosity with a heart of gold. Standing over seven feet tall, this creature of darkness is a towering, hulking figure with jagged teeth, wild eyes, and a ragged, patched-together appearance. Despite his fearsome visage, Mr. Herriman is a gentle giant with a talent for sculpting and an encyclopedic knowledge of the arts.

His imposing presence can be intimidating, but he has a calming, nurturing effect on the younger residents. Mr. Herriman's warm, welcoming spirit is a testament to the healing power of acceptance and understanding, proving that even the scariest monsters can have a heart.
