As the movie plays, encourage your child to fill in the colors according to the scenes and their imagination. If there's a lively chase scene, perhaps they could color the mouse's running shoes or the cat's whiskers. A sad or dramatic part might inspire them to use softer colors or create a unique, comforting pattern for the mouse's blanket.

Making It an Interactive Experience

To enhance engagement, you can pause the movie at key points and ask your child questions related to the coloring sheet. For example, "What color should we make the mouse's eyes? Should they be happy, sad, or scared, like in the movie?" This interactive approach turns the movie-watching experience into a collaborative storytelling session.

Alternatively, you could use the coloring sheet to create a fun game. Before the movie starts, ask your child to predict what colors they'll use for specific scenes. After watching, compare their predictions with their actual coloring choices - it's a fun way to discuss the movie together!
