The Significance of Jesus' Ascension

Imagine the awe and wonder the disciples must have felt watching Jesus ascend to heaven. Our coloring page invites children to reflect on this emotion and consider their own faith journey.

Jesus' Role in Heaven and on Earth

After his ascension, Jesus intercedes for us in heaven (Romans 8:34) and will one day return to earth to establish his kingdom (Acts 1:11). Our coloring page depicts Jesus in the clouds, emphasizing his dual role in both heaven and on earth.

By coloring Jesus' hands, children can remember that he intercedes for them daily. Coloring the clouds can symbolize the presence of the Holy Spirit, who empowered the disciples and can empower them too.
