Jonah in the Whale

The heart of the Jonah story lies in the whale's belly. Our coloring sheets captures this iconic moment with incredible detail. Your kids can color Jonah in his comfy — or should we say cramped? — whale dwelling, complete with his harp and tuba. Don't miss out on coloring the whale itself, with its own set of imprimis fins and tail.

We also offer a range of Jonah-in-the-whale coloring pages in various styles. Some are more detailed for older kids, while others are simpler for younger ones. No matter their age, your kids are sure to enjoy downloading and printing these FREE coloring sheets.

Jonah Plays His Harp

In one of the most famous scenes from the story, Jonah plays his harp inside the whale. Our coloring sheet captures this musical moment with a close-up of Jonah and his beloved instrument. Your kids can color Jonah in detail, along with the intricate patterns on his harp.

To make things even more fun, we've included a subtle, hidden surprise in this sheet. While coloring, your kids might discover a small shark hidden inside the whale's mouth. This will not only spark their curiosity but also encourage them to examine the picture more closely.

Jonah and the Whale

This coloring sheet depicts Jonah and the whale in all their glory. Your kids can color Jonah inside the whale's cavernous mouth, in stark contrast to the vast ocean beyond. The whale's eye peeking out from the water adds a touch of whimsy, making this sheet perfect for kids of all ages.

Why stop at colored pencils? Encourage your kids to get creative with this sheet. They can use different shades of blue for the water, mimic the unique texture of a whale's skin, or even use stickers to add ocean creatures like fish, dolphins, or more sharks. The possibilities are endless!

Jonah and the People of Nineveh

No Jonah story would be complete without the people of Nineveh. Our collection features a series of coloring sheets dedicated to the citizens of this great city, each one showcasing a different aspect of their repentance and Jonah's role in it.

Watch as your kids color in the townsfolk, from the king to the lowliest servant, as they hear Jonah's message and respond with humility and remorse. Each sheet tells a part of the story, so be sure to collect them all!

King of Nineveh Repents

This coloring sheet focuses on the King of Nineveh in his moment of repentance. Your kids can color the king as he humbly removes his royal robes, ready to turn from his wicked ways and lead his people in repentance.

But what's that in the background? Is that a storm cloud brewing or a sign that the city's prayers have been heard? Encourage your kids to explore the hidden details of this sheet, coloring in the raindrops and other signs of hope amidst the repentance.

The People of Nineveh in Sackcloth and Ashes

Our final Jonah coloring sheet depicts the people of Nineveh as they respond to Jonah's warning. Dressed in sackcloth and ashes, they come together in prayer and fasting, seeking God's forgiveness for their sins.

Your kids can color the people of Nineveh as they travel the city, spreading their message of repentance. From the humblest townsfolk to the city's smallest children, each person in this sheet has a story to tell.
