Mario Himself

No Mario coloring page collection would be complete without the man himself! Your kids can color Mario in his classic red and blue, or perhaps give him a unique twist with all their favorite colors. The possibilities are endless!

Don't forget to mention the different outfits Mario dons in various games. This could inspire kids to create their own Mario variant – maybe a Mario with a headdress inspired by his time in the Donkey Kong Country games!

Luigi

Don't leave out Mario's younger brother, Luigi! Always the proverbial 'second fiddle', Luigi is no less beloved. Let your kids showcase their creativity by giving Luigi a color scheme all his own.

Encourage kids to think about different Luigi variants, too. Is there a Luigi from a game they particularly love? Maybe a Luigi dressed up as a doctor, inspired by Luigi's Mansion?

Mario's damsel-in-distress is anything but weak! Color Princess Peach in her signature pink, or let your kids' imagination run wild with their own color choices.

Bowser

The King of the Koopas is always up to no good. Have your kids color him in his menacing black and green, or let them experiment with softer colors to see if that changes his villainous persona.

Encourage kids to think about whether Bowser could be a hero in another story. Could he be a misunderstood villain, like in the N64 game 'Bowser's Story'?

Goombas

These little mushroom-like creatures may be cannon fodder in the Mario universe, but they're still adorable! Let your kids color a whole Goomba army in their favorite colors.

This could be an opportunity to discuss the concept of conformity and individuality. Are all Goombas exactly the same, or could they be unique too?

Koopa Troopas

Bowser's army of shelled soldiers are fan favorites. Have your kids color them in their traditional green, or find out if a rainbow Koopa Troopa is still a loyal soldier!

Encourage kids to think about the different Koopa Troopas found in the Mario games. Some are metallic, some have specific weapons – there's a lot to explore!

Once you've finished coloring, consider mounting your creations on cardstock or poster board. This makes wonderful wall art, or even a door decoration for a child's bedroom!
