One Little Snowman melted
Glancing out the frosted window, one could be forgiven for thinking winter was here to stay. The snow blanketed the landscape, transforming the familiar world into a magical, crystalline wonderland. But a wise old owl sitting on a spectator's branch knew better. For he had seen it all before - the cyclical dance of seasons that sees snowflakes fall, and melt away with the sun's gentle kiss.
The ordeal of the little snowman, who had stood proudly in the park, was no exception. Built with hope and joy by the neighborhood children, he was a beacon of the season's spirit. Yet, with each passing day, he lost a little more of his round, jolly form. The once-perfect snowballs that made up his round body began to sag, and his carrot nose lost its gleaming shine. Yes, winter might be long, but it's a fleeting visitor, and so is his frost-bitten friend - the snowman.
