Blue Penguin Pottery: Discover Floating Magic in Every Piece

Discover the captivating allure of Penguin Pottery's latest creation, the Floating Blue collection. This unique range combines the warmth of traditional ceramic artistry with the freshness of a modern, airy aesthetic. Let's delve into the beauty and uniqueness of this stunning collection.

The Floating Blue collection is more than just pottery; it's a celebration of the boundless skies and the tranquility of water. Each piece is meticulously crafted to evoke a sense of weightlessness and fluidity, making them treasured additions to any space they inhabit.

Handcrafted Techniques: Blending Tradition and Innovation

The magic of the Floating Blue collection begins at its source - the potter's wheel. Master artisans skillfully shape each piece using time-honored techniques. However, it's the innovative glaze application that sets these pieces apart.

Penguin Pottery has developed a proprietary glaze recipe that mirrors the iridescence of water under sunlight. This groundbreaking approach gives each piece an invigorating, ethereal glow that seems to shift and change with the light.

The Art of Glazing

Penguin Pottery's Floating Blue collection is the result of countless trials and experiments. The secret lies in the careful balance of materials, the precise application technique, and, of course, a touch of artistic intuition.

To achieve the prized 'floating' effect, glaziers apply the mixture in thin, even layers. They use a unique spinning technique that mimics the potter's wheel to distribute the glaze uniformly. The interaction between the glaze and the clay body during the firing process then creates the mesmerizing, sky-kissed hues.

Timeless Design, Modern Appeal

The Floating Blue collection exemplifies Penguin Pottery's commitment to timeless design. The forms are simple, elegant, and reminiscent of classic ceramic shapes. Yet, the vivid, shifting blues and the distinctive glazing technique give the collection a decidedly contemporary edge.

From vases and bowls to mugs and platters, every piece in the Floating Blue collection is designed to be both functional and visually stunning. They are perfect for adding a touch of serene sophistication to your home or office decor.

The Floating Blue Collection: Versatile and Stylish

The versatility of the Floating Blue collection is another of its standout features. The pieces transition seamlessly from one setting to another, making them ideal for home, office, or even special occasions.

Whether you're using them to display anything from fresh flowers to office stationery, or simply admiring their beauty from afar, the Floating Blue collection brings a touch of sky and water into your everyday life.

Elevate Your Table Settings

The Floating Blue collection brings the outdoors inside, turning mealtimes into a tranquil, relaxed affair. Use the bowls for serving salads, the platters for displaying appetizers, or the mugs for sipping your favorite tea or coffee.

Their unique glow creates a warm, inviting ambiance, perfect for gathering loved ones or enjoying a quiet moment alone. Pair them with coordinating textiles and natural elements for a harmonious, organic atmosphere.

The artistry and craftsmanship of the Floating Blue collection mean that each piece is unique. Consider them as standalone art pieces, arranging them in your living room, on your desk, or in your personal sanctuary.

Alternatively, group them together to create a striking display. Their disjointed glazing creates an intriguing, dynamic ensemble that's guaranteed to spark conversation and curiosity.
