The story of Saul's anointing begins with a search. The people of Israel asked Samuel, the last judge of Israel, to appoint a king over them. In the heart of theBenjaminite family of Kish lived Saul, a tall and handsome young man. Little did he know, God had plans for him.

Samuel, guided by God, went to Saul's home and asked him to step forward. Saul, humble and unaware of God's plans,läge hidden among the baggage. But God had other plans. Samuel anointed Saul as king over Israel, right there in front of his people. This was just the beginning of Saul's incredible journey.
