Story and Gameplay

While the enhanced visuals and performance are undeniably appealing, the heart of any Sonic game lies in its story and gameplay. Sonic Colors Ultimate, thankfully, retains the core appeal of the original game.

Sonic, as always, is blazing his way through the Dr. Eggman's latest scheme – this time, the nefarious doctor is harnessing alien creatures called Wisps to power his newest weapon. With the help of Tails and a Wisp called Yacker, our spiky blue hero must free the captured Wisps and put a stop to Eggman's plans.

Wisp Powers

One of the defining features of Sonic Colors is the variety of different Wisp powers that Sonic can pick up throughout the game. Each Wisp grants our hedgehog friend a unique ability, ranging from slowing down time, plowing through enemies, to even transforming into a massive driller.

Fans can also expect a range of special editions, including a limited 'Artbook & Soundtrack' bundle. It's clear that SEGA wants to give fans a reason to celebrate the return of this colorful classic.

So, mark your calendars, gather your controllers, and get ready to blast through a rainbow of thrills. Sonic Colors Ultimate is speeding towards you on October 7, 2021, and it promises to be an unforgettable ride. Don't miss out on this high-speed, high-color adventure!
