Preparing the Game

Before you can start playing, you'll need to prepare the game by cutting out the individual cards from the printed sheet. Next, layout the cards face down in a 4x6 grid on a flat surface. Make sure the cards are evenly spaced and not overlapping to ensure a fair and enjoyable game for all players.

Once the cards are laid out, it's time to familiarize yourself with the images on the cards. Glance over the grid, taking note of any particular cards that stand out. This step will help you become more attuned to the subtle differences between the cards, making it easier to locate matching pairs during the game.

Playing the Game

Now that your game is prepared, it's time to begin playing! The rules of Star Wars memory are simple and can be enjoyed by players of all ages. The goal of the game is to find all the matching pairs of cards as quickly as possible by flipping over two cards at a time.

To start, the youngest player or the player who has seen the most Star Wars films gets to go first. They flip over two cards, revealing one image at a time. If the two images match, the player keeps the cards and takes another turn. If the images do not match, the cards are turned back over, and the next player takes their turn. The game continues until all cards have been matched.
