Neji Hyuga, a highly skilled ninja from the Hyuga clan, is known for his Byakugan eyes. However, unlike other characters, his eyes are not always visible, which has led to some confusion. So, let's delve into the details and uncover the answer to this intriguing question.

Neji Hyuga: Character Background

To understand Neji's eye color, it's crucial to first know about his character. Neji is a central figure in the Naruto series, initially introduced as a rival to our main protagonist. Neji's personality is a fascinating mix of confidence, determination, and a strong sense of justice. However, his attitude towards the Leaf Village and its shinobi is initially negative, due to the discrimination faced by the Hyuga clan.

What are Byakugan Eyes?

Neji's eyes are Byakugan, a special eye technique that allows the user to see in 360 degrees, track the movements of adversaries efficiently, and even see through solid objects. This unique eye feature is not common among the shinobi world and is typically possessed by members of the Hyuga clan.

Neji's Eye Color Revealed

Now, let's reveal what color Neji's eyes are. When Neji's Byakugan is activated, his irises turn a striking, pale white color. This stark color change from his usual normal human eye color, black, makes the activation of his Byakugan quite noticeable.

Once activated, Neji's eyes become completely white, with no visible iris or pupil. This dramatic transformation allows him to harness the full power of his Byakugan, making him a formidable adversary in battle.

Neji's Eye Color Evolves

As the series progresses, Neji's eye color undergoes a slight transformation. After the Fourth Shinobi World War, Neji gains a new Rinnegan eye on his left side, due to the influence of the Sage of Six Paths' powers. This new eye color is a vibrant, dark blue, quite distinct from his original Byakugan whites.

This change further enriches Neji's character, making him even more unique and powerful among the shinobi world.
