"Wings of Fire" is a thrilling fantasy series by author Tui T. Sutherland, featuring a diverse cast of dragon characters. From the timid yet brave Sandy to the fearless and cunning Blisters, each dragon has a unique personality and story to tell. Our printable coloring pages allow you to meet the fascinating NightWings and color them in your own unique style.

Discover the NightWings

The NightWings are a mysterious and secretive tribe of dragons, known for their ability to manipulate shadows and their mastery of stealth. Led by the formidable NightWing, they are one of the most powerful tribes in Pyrrhia.

Our printable coloring page features NightWing herself, standing tall and proud with her sleek black and purple scales shimmering in the moonlight. As you color her, imagine the stories she could tell of her tribe's ancient history and the secrets they've kept hidden for generations.

NightWing's Scales

NightWing's scales are a mesmerizing blend of deep black and iridescent purple, reflecting the colors of the night sky. To capture this effect, consider using a dark purple for her base scales and a lighter, shimmery purple for highlights. You could also incorporate a touch of silver or white to create a sparkling moonlit effect.

Don't be afraid to get creative with your shading! Experiment with different colors and effects to create a truly unique NightWing. You could even try using metallic or glow-in-the-dark markers to make her really pop off the page!

NightWings' Abilities

NightWings are notoriously difficult to track, due to their unique ability to manipulate shadows. They can blend into the darkness, becoming nearly invisible to others. As you color NightWing, consider adding some subtle shadowy outlines to her wings or tail to emphasize this incredible skill.

But NightWings aren't just masters of stealth – they're also powerful fighters. NightWing herself is said to be one of the strongest and fastest dragons in Pyrrhia. To represent her might, you could add some fierce-looking talons or a determined expression to her face as you color.
